She heavily lambasted Pia and said that the beauty queen had “attitude.” According to Philippine Entertainment Portal, the excerpt of her caption was, "Hindi ka lang marunong mag-appreciate kasi hayop ang ugali mo, Hindi ka man lang magpasalamat sa mga pagod namin."
Pia went to Brunei with her boyfriend Marlon Stockinger, his parents, and his sibling last September 2016. Also in attendance were a maid and two assistants.
However, Dupaya only revealed her encounter with the beauty queen recently.
The source revealed that Dupaya has a reputation for inviting celebrities and showbiz personalities in Brunei. Her “rags-to-riches” story has also been featured in GMA’s ‘Magpakailanman.’
Apart from that, the businesswoman was said to have won the lottery three times, making her the “luckiest person in the world.”
According to GMA News Online, Dupaya won 1 million pesos in her first time upon joining the lottery. She draws for a second time and this won her 3 million pesos.
On her third attempt, she won once again--this time, with a whopping amount of 10 million pesos.
After that, Dupaya and her family went to Brunei in order to build their own businesses. She owns a beauty salon, a spa, a boutique, a bakery, and several restaurants.
Dupaya was not born into the lap of luxury the source revealed that she was just a foundling who was thrown into a garbage dump in Iligan City.
However, she was saved by her grandmother, who had to travel all the way from Jolo, Sulu in Mindanano.
When she turned 17, that’s when she started working abroad. By 18, she was married to Mar, who was a fellow Filipino.
The source cited that Dupaya got lucky with the lotteries in Brunei, where her first win was based on the numbers that her child was able to see in a plate number.
By 2009, their house was raided by the authorities because they found her consecutive three wins “suspicious.” They thought that she and her husband were practicing illegal activities.

But Dupaya was able to survive and her businesses continued to thrive. Due to her wealth, she was able to invite celebrities to her business events. It was not just Pia whom Dupaya had an encounter with.
