Finishing our studies from pre-school to college is maybe one of the most awaited achievements people expect from us. Whenever graduation season comes around graduates from various universities and colleges share their stories on their social media pages.
One graduate from NCBA Fairview posted her unusual yet inspiring story as a student. Janelle Rulan, is a consistent Dean's Lister throughout all the semesters in every school year. However, people still have something to say about her.
In her Facebook post, Janelle recollected all the times she paid the consequences of providing answers to her cheating classmates. She said that she had always thought that even when some do their best to study, it's possible that they still won't get it. This is why she has devoted herself to being the "source" of the class.
Despite being an honor student, Janelle shared that her friends are not of her intellectual caliber. They are the ones who are "happy go lucky" and she admits to enjoying their company.
Janelle wanted to pass on her principles by sending a message to every one who would read her story. She implied that it's not fun to be at the top of the class all alone. The more, the merrier it would be.
The outstanding student urges her fellows to learn to help others for in return, they will help you in your times of need as well. She also advises them to not believe the opinions of others especially when they are negative and discouraging.
She ends her post by thanking God, her family, her professors and her friends for playing big roles in her journey as a student.
