It has been a while since Nikki Gil made noise and was seen on television on a regular basis.  

Even though the girl was not thoroughly scandalous, she made a ruckus when she mentioned that she and host Billy Crawford have broken up because according to her, she wanted to “remain a virgin.”  

Vengeance soon followed because the actress soon married her college friend BJ Albert in 2015. Philippine Star reported that when she appeared in the now-defunct talk show ‘Aquino & Abunda,’ Nikki implied that her wedding gift to BJ would be her chastity.  

Boy Abunda asked her, “What is your most precious gift for BJ?”  

Kris Aquino added, “On the day that you work down that aisle, and for that night.” 

Nikki replied, “Obviously, whatever you’re thinking, it’s that. I know what it is!” But she added that she and BJ were not in a hurry to create a family. According to her, “No, not immediately. Petiks muna, enjoy-enjoy.”  

When the wedding took place, Nikki lied low and was not heard from at least, not in any particular scandal or controversy after that.  

But beliefs aside, Nikki is also known to be a hardworking and a dutiful daughter. This was evidenced when she built a house for her own family in one of the exclusive subdivisions in Las Piñas.  

The house was touted by Real Living Philippines as a “modern tropical dwelling.” The source cited that Nikki and her family moved in what was initially a two-storey house but hired architect Larry Manaquil to develop it into a three-storey abode that could be considered the actress’ “private sanctuary.”  

According to the report, Mommy Julie was the one who designed the impressive interiors. She is an interior design student at the Philippine School of Interior Design (PSID). The house was renovated with tropical and Asian pieces.  

The theme is Modern Asian and the look, according to Julie, is a “contemporary-meets-Oriental-and-Balinese theme.” The designer also employed a few tropical touches at the house to make in more unique.
