It’s mental health awareness week. This is my contribution along with my story:
Many of you already know that I’m going through some physical health issues right now. I actually also had and have my fair deal of mental issues. I was diagnosed with depression several years ago and had quite an amount of anxiety attacks. Those anxiety attacks were gone after many therapy sessions. And I was so happy!
•
Since a few days I find myself choked up in these physical issues and trapped into my own life. I have the feeling that other people are leading my life and that I’m not being absent for a reason anymore, but that more and more people are just seeing it as an excuse.
I find myself laying awake at night again, finally being free of thinking the things I want to think about, it seems that my mind doesn’t even care that I’m actually too tired to think.
But because of this, the anxiety attacks started again, and it takes hours before I can breathe properly again and I’m able to fall asleep.
•
I’m sure it’ll get better someday, and I’m having the courage to move forward.
You don’t have to look sad to feel bad (but it’s okay if you are). I’m perfectly optimistic and happy to live but other days I just want to move to a desert island and cry all day.
I hope my story makes you feel a bit better and less alone, and that it motivates you to move forward 💜

I’ve actually been dealing with quite the a-holes this year. Some of them have been “friends” but went behind my back, others have been stealing my work, others have been unsupportive towards my artwork and are not believing in me. I’ve dealt with lots of fake people, hate and jealousy. My list of people I want to punch in the face is continuously growing 😂.

This sucks because you idolized these people for so many years and then the adrenaline and happiness kicks in when they approve of your work, only to break your heart and crush your soul *overly dramatic 😂* when they unfollow you weeks later.
