It's not only Ginebra who scored a championship last night, but also Mark Caguioa as he got the sweet yes to marry her girlfriend Lauren Hudson.

He picked the perfect time to propose to his longtime girlfriend after Ginebra ended the eight-year PBA championship drought vs Meralco in the Governor's cup.

Caguioa knelled on one knee on the court and asked his Filipino-Australian partner to be with him for the rest of their life. She said yes.

The couple has been together since 2004.

“We’ve been together for twelve years and I think it’s the right time,” Caguioa said. “And this was the right time.”

“Siya yung nagpapalakas sa akin,” he added. “And I want to thank her that she’s been there through the ups and downs. And I want to tell her that I love her.”
