She took up cab-driving as a second job because of the unstable work, schedule and pay associated with modeling

The 24-year-old native of the Nagano Prefecture began her career as a 'gravure model' - models who pose for men's magazines/photobooks/DVDs.

Kana's popularity increased when she began appearing on the weekly television program Nino San. She was part of the model group Mina Mates of Mina magazine. Kana's even done various modeling gigs for salon brands such as ELO and Voce. 

Kana joined with the Asuka Traffic Dream Project, where two people are crowned as the “Mister and Miss Asuka”. Mister and Miss Asuka represent the image and character of the company. She makes appearances in character on television.

For a year and a half, Kana balances a career between being a professional cab driver and fashion (gravure) model. Kana's taxi route are along Shibuya, Ebisu, and Naka-Meguro.
